Yes! In 1963 a drunk driver slammed into my dads van killing him as well as 3 other men. 2 men survived. They were coming home from a gig.
This started many years of pain which ended up with many of my family members dieing.
One mans choice made 16 children fatherless.

No. I have never been arrested for drunk driving nor has anyone in my immediate family. Nor have we been victims of drunk drivers.
However we are not te-totallers but drink responsibly and always designate a driver who remains sober. In addition we don’t tend to stay out late and avoid routes where the drunks congregate. This has worked for 50 years now. I got my license in 1957.

yes, my wife was killed in 2003 when a intoxicated driver drove through a red traffic light and smashed into my wife’s vehicle. She was killed instantly.
