   They should not be allowed to drive when they had too much to drink in the first place. If they go to a bar where they are known, hopefully they have some friends there.. and one of them will grab the key from them and either drive them home or call them a cab..and not let them drive or if they come as a group, they should be mature enough to have one designated driver who won’t drink.. who will drive the others back home that way a lot of senseless deaths could be prevented. Once a person is drunk, they can’t make rational decisions, if they go out and drive under the influence and someone gets killed then it’s manslaughter but it’s not cold blooded murder as this was not planned. A drunk driver is like an explosive device that is ticking.. it could go off any time. If it doesn’t it’s more luck than anything else.. plus the drunk driver also risks getting killed himself or herself or if he or she has passengers in the car who can’t drive, and all get killed, he has them on his or her concience also. If someone is found driving under the influence.. their driving license should be taken from them for a year. Maybe that will make them stop and think the next time. It can’t be seen as murder, it has to be treated as manslaugher considering the fact that some people get away with killing a person on purpose.. and only get 6 years imprisonment for willful murder, so killing whilst under the influence I hope if they survive and kill someone else whilst drunk, that this will trouble their sleep for many years and they will have nightmares and feelings of guilt.. rather than the punishment they receive from the law.. apart from losing their driving license..

   I blame the government for drunk drivers. The govenment profits so much from drunk drivers. (fees) I hate to say it but when people go to the bar, clubs, sports events, etc… there going to drink and when down they need to get back home, so there going to drive there car. Go drive to your nearest bar in your city look at all those cars in the parking lot every one of them will have a drunk person driving them home later that day-night, Its the way it is im sorry. Hey government I got idea you want to stop drunk drivers why not then. a) close down all bars or b) make it were all cars must have a breathalyzer in them to be able to start the car. OH yeah I forgot you don’t care about the well being of people just money.

   Then you have never been in an accident. Drunk drivers should be punished to the fullest extent. I have had too many friends killed by drunk drivers who just walked away. And they never learn from their mistakes.

   Thats weird that you don’t believe in accidents. drunk drivers are idiots
